لمحة عن البرنامج
One of the unique characteristics of our extension program is the fact that we can never gather the main participants of our courses at one place and at one time. Throughout the Arab world groups of students and tutors are gathering around their course material, whom we here in the central office have never met and only know by name. These “unseen” participants are the major role players for the PTEE. They are known by the different PTEE national committees, who send representatives each year to our annual general assembly. At the assembly the “face-to-face” cooperation takes place.
We, the staff of the PTEE central office, play a supportive role in the service of those study groups, both near and far. The main two divisions of our work are the following:
a) administration of PTEE, including training, external relationships, student registration, etc. and
b) course development, completing the proposed 36-course curriculum.
Rev. Richard Hart Ph.D. As Executive Director of the PTEE he is also our longest serving staff member. His special emphasis is adult education and as our resident “faith-stretching visionary” always keeps our eyes on future developments. Married to Robin, with two children, Richard completed his theological studies at Denver Seminary and has a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield IL, USA.
Dr. Robert Miner As Theological Consultant concerning primarily for the theological content and didactic methodology of our courses. Robert has studied Psychology (University of Vienna, Austria), Theology (Master of Theology, Free Evangelical Theological Academy, Basel, Switzerland), and Linguistics (Ph.D., University of Strasbourg, France). Robert is married with Layne and has five children.
