It's been a delightful autumn thus far. Please enjoy these recent photos.
To celebrate Micha's tenth birthday we all went to an amusement park. This was shortly before the five were hung upsidedown.
Beware of these future (and present) drivers.
Lydia and David, Daniel and Rachelle, Layne and fearless Micha
Rachelle dressed up and going out for a birthday date to celebrate her 12th. Each birthday is begun by a special breakfast, here for Rachelle.
Micha preparing to go out to celebrate his 10th.He chose to go to a very formal restaurant for his birthday, altho he chose his own clothing.
Not your typical birthday outing, but we had jumped David, tied his hands behind his back, blind-folded and were about to drive him to an unknown destination to celebrate his 18th. He's becoming a challenge to tie down!
Daniel (clarinett) and Lydia (flute) have playing for years in the school orchestra. Micha (saxophone) and Rachelle (oboe) have just started this year, but with enthusiasm.
This school has a very active theatre group, in which the older four are involved.
On a school holiday in a crispy cold Nov. we took off camping with good friends, Herb and Heather Klassen.
Beauties and the beast.
The two Klassen children, Lucas and Honor, are roughly peers to our youngest two. Do you notice any typical gender differences? Bedouin Herb with our tribes at a dessert ruin.
Our two cross-country bikers testing their skills on the mountains. The mountains survived. Please click here for the video: Mountainbiking (be patient, it's high resolution, 5.4 Mb)
We skipped school and office to attend a military toys exhibition. Very impressive, but dangerous.
A long-term good friend, Hussam Fakhoury, were engaged and married. For some true Jordanian culture see the video. Click here for Hussam's engagement and here for the wedding.
David went on wild-hair spree and was nick-named "carrot top".
Both David and Daniel, along with the old man, ran a marathon, from Amman to the Dead Sea. A passer-by took the picture.
