Amazing how rarely we get around to making true portraits. Anyway these two are good friends.  No doubt that the best investment is a basketball hoop. Here with good friends: two times two brothers; one pair Jordanian/Egyptian, the other Syrian/British.  Lydia at one of our favourite camp grounds in southern Jordan, Dana Nature Reserve, just north of Petra.  Robert and Daniel planting small grape vine from neighbour. Small today, tomorrow a tree reaching to the roof. Like our relationship.  Micha in the lot across from our house. I asked him to get close to a baby goat; he can't understand why they don't want to be close to him.  David is the desert, looking undoubtedly "cool".  Daniel, likewise in desert, on the way to a camping expedition in Dana (see picture above of Lydia).  Robert  with some of the original inhabitants of our country, these lords of the desert.
