All the courses of the Certificate of Ministry, except one, are translated from S.E.A.N International. SEAN means Study by Extension for All Nations. This one course “Come Follow Me” is written by Dr. Tim Green.

Certificate of Ministry provides basic Biblical and ministry training in Arabic for Christian adults who are not in a position to enroll directly in degree-level studies or do not have time, but who want to develop in their faith, their Christian service and their educational skills. In addition, a goal of the Certificate Ministry is to provide theological training for students who does not have the opportunity to complete high school as in Sudan and Yemen.

The Certificate of Ministry is comprised of 21 courses and aims to equip the student to serve effectively as a leader in a small church and in a range of ministries in his/her family, church and community, and to contribute as a responsible citizen in his/her workplace, society, and nation. 

BASIC TEACHING FOR NEW BELIEVERS

• Abundant Life: 18 lessons on ‘the basics’ of the Christian life for Christian.
• Come Follow Me: 20 lessons on ‘the basics’ of the Christian life for Followers of Christ.
• The Big Picture: 20 lessons. An overview of the Bible, its books, topics and principal doctrines.

FOUNDATION COURSES FOR WORKERS AND LEADERS

• The Life of Christ: Compendium of pastoral theology, based on the Gospel of Matthew (150 lessons in 6 books). This course is a 2 to 3 year basic and integrated program to prepare Christian workers and leaders.
• Paul’s Life and Letters: (3 books, 1 year’s study) This series gives in detail the life of Paul, his missionary journeys and the principal doctrines of his letters.
• The Pentateuch: (2 books, 1 year’s study) A detailed study of Genesis and the unity of the rest of the Pentateuch, highlighting particularly its messianic theme.

PRACTICAL COURSES

• How to Preach: A practical course on how to prepare sermons.
• How to Prepare and Lead Services: A practical course on how to plan and lead services.
• Feed my Lambs (12 weeks) How to teach the Bible to children – for teachers involved in children’s ministry.
• Mission, Mercy, Me? (5 weeks study, plus practical work unlimited) A practical course to help churches organize evangelistic and mercy missions.
• Ephesians: Union with Christ: 30 practical and devotional lessons from Paul’s letter.
• Work for all: (7 lessons) A doctrinal and practical study on the work ethic, redundancy, etc.(not translated)
